Sponsoring the Kiyanaan Festival

Echo Theatre is creating the first Indigenous Theatre Festival in Manitoba right here on Treaty 1 Territory (Winnipeg) called KIYANAAN INDIGENOUS THEATRE FESTIVAL, a Southern Michif word meaning “us” (inclusive). The goal of this festival is to showcase, celebrate, and cultivate live theatre of the past, present, and future created by and for Indigenous people in Manitoba.

 

KIYANAAN FEST is an exciting opportunity to engage, strengthen, and support Indigenous theatre artists, workers, and audiences.​
